Craig View Veterinary Clinic is a purpose built hospital, offering professional services combined with transparency to clients with regards to their pets care.
When Dr Bull designed the practice, his concept of openness lead to much use of glass throughout the building. This assists with observing animal behaviour and care through the day by both veterinarians and veterinary nurses.
Small Animal Wards
There are 4 sets of Small animal wards. Each set of wards is allocated to a species and is dependent on type of treatment or procedure.
Cages are made from stainless steel (hygienic), each equipped with its own mattress and blanket - to ensure no cross-contamination, and colour coded per ward. Individually the ward is temperature regulated by an air-conditioner and patients are provided with a Television. TV's are said to be a comfort and stimulus to domestic animals as they associate the sounds and images with a home environment. Wards are kitted with cameras for surveillance.
The Wards can accommodate a maximum of 11 patients.
The practice strongly believes in a sanitised environment for the health of both pets and owners and therefore makes use of F10 Anti-Fungal/Anti-Bacterial products throughout the clinic. Craig View is proud to be F10 Sanitised Approved.
Large and Giant Breed Ward
The facility has 4 large/giant breed wards. These wards are independent, spacious and separated by glass doors - which allows animals to communicate with other patients within the facility and with our staff at all times. They are fitted with bedding and again, each one is colour coded.
Isolation
Our isolation ward is consistently monitored but our veterinary team and patient care team, for both the pet care and hygiene purposes.
Isolation is used to prevent and control the spread of a/any type of infectious disease. The protocols around our Isolation ward are implemented to protect patients, owners and the personnel. Every team member plays an active role in ensuring the formalities are followed.
